Polite – Voice-to-Text Translation & Reporting Web Portal
Polite is a two-way communication tool designed to help bridge language gaps between petitioners and officers. The dashboard enables real-time speech capture, translation, and report generation in different languages.
Workflow:
Language Selection – Both petitioner and officer can select their preferred languages from dropdown menus.
Voice Capture – Users can record spoken input through the Capture Voice option.
Voice Playback – The system provides a Hear the Voice feature to replay captured audio.
Translation & Display – Spoken input is transcribed and displayed in the chosen language panel (e.g., petitioner in Hindi → officer in Malayalam).
Save & Generate Report – Officers can save the conversation, and the system generates a structured report for official use.
Design Highlights:
Split-Screen Layout: Side-by-side panels (Petitioner vs Officer) for clarity.
Minimal UI: Neutral colors with orange highlights to keep focus on content.
Accessibility: Voice-based features ensure usability for diverse audiences.
